"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." Aristotle

A brief introduction

I'm a software and firmware engineer specialising in embedded systems, IoT and backend, with experience spanning battery energy storage, medical devices, automotive testing and network infrastructure.

Most of my work has been in products where correctness is not optional — grid-connected power electronics, ventilators, neonatal monitors, truck control units. In those environments I tend to take ownership of a subsystem end to end: the interface definition, the implementation, and the test infrastructure that keeps it honest over time.

I have led a software team, set architecture on several projects, and mentored engineers onto them. I believe the team delivers the product rather than the individual, which in practice means writing requirements that can be verified, raising risk early, and making sure the people around me can do their work without waiting on me.

Current work

Polarium
Firmware for Polarium Home, a residential battery energy storage system — battery and inverter coordination, BMS, and a Yocto-based system controller.
Eunice Energy Group
Building a RevPi-based HEDNO gateway from scratch: the on-site controller, certified before the station may connect, that lets the Greek distribution operator supervise and remotely curtail a power station.
